West Michigan's Motion Sick is carving out their place in the underground pop punk/emo scene. Influenced by blink-182, Neck Deep, and The Story So Far, the four-piece explores life's twists and turns through roaring guitars and aggressive drums. Guitarist/vocalist Sam Stafford started the project between classes in 2022, releasing debut EP Where Strangers Once Slept before enlisting bassist Sam Hogan for the follow-up Falling Behind. Now with drummer Ben Schenkel and guitarist Michael Moore rounding out the lineup, Motion Sick enters a new chapter with their debut album What It Feels Like To Be Alive — a record that builds on the band's foundation while tackling the struggle to find a positive outlook on life's problems without losing your sense of identity. Their self-titled EP MOTION SICK was released by PNWK Records in October 2025.
