Surrender the Ghost

Surrender the Ghost is an alternative rock band from Columbus, Ohio. After walking away from music in 2017, guitarist Matthew Ellis had the fire reignited in fall 2020 over a few too many drinks and some favorite records, recruiting longtime friend and guitarist Tony Chaffin, bassist Brandon Eldridge, drummer Mark Johnston, and vocalist Ricky Gonzalez. The band built early momentum supporting Saosin and MAE before signing with PNWK Records, releasing singles "Smokin' Doesn't Help" and "Faster Than Expected." Built on good hangs, brotherhood, and a love of music, Surrender the Ghost remain one of Columbus's most promising uplifting rock acts.
